These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the King Development website and all services provided by King Development. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
We provide services including:
• Website Design
• Website Development
• Website Maintenance
• Web Application Development
• E-commerce Development
• API Integration
• Website Hosting (where applicable)
• Digital Marketing
• Technical Support
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Work will commence only after acceptance of the quotation and receipt of the required deposit.
Payment terms are specified in the quotation or project agreement. Failure to pay invoices may result in suspension of work, suspension of website hosting or removal of website access until payment has been received.
Unless otherwise agreed, all projects require a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins.
The Client agrees to:
• Provide all required content
• Supply images and branding materials
• Review work promptly
• Respond to requests within a reasonable time
• Ensure all supplied content is lawful and does not infringe third-party rights Project delays caused by the Client may extend completion dates.
All intellectual property remains the property of King Development until the project has been paid for in full. Upon full payment, ownership of the completed custom website transfers to the Client unless otherwise agreed in writing. King Development retains ownership of its proprietary tools, frameworks, templates and reusable code.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, King Development may display completed projects in its portfolio, website and marketing materials.
Where hosting is provided, King Development will make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Maintenance services are governed by a separate Website Maintenance Agreement where applicable.
Clients are responsible for third-party costs including:
• Domain registration
• Premium plugins
• Premium themes
• Email hosting
• Software licenses
• SSL certificates
Unless specifically included in the quotation.
King Development shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages, including loss of profits, business interruption or data loss. Liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the relevant services.
Either party may terminate services in writing.
Outstanding invoices remain payable.
Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
King Development reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website.
